Twenty Eight Days of Ramadan

Alhamdullillah! All praise is due to Allah, the most beautiful names belong to Allah: so call Him by them; the Guardian, the Heakener to Prayer, the All Embracing, the Most Wise, the Loving, the Glorious, the Raiser from the dead, the witness, the Truth, the Representative, the Strong, the Firm, the Protecting friend, the Praise worthy, the Accountant, the Originator, the Reproducer, the Quickener, the Causer of Death, the Alive, the Self Subsisting, the All Providing, the One, the Illustrious, the Only.

                              Purity (of Faith)
    In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
   Say: He is Allah, the One in Only; Allah, the eternal, Absolute;
    He begetteth not, Nor is He begotten; And there is none like unto Him.
    Surah Al-Iklas, 112:1-4

We Muslim believe the Oneness of God, we call Him Allah (means One God), the Supreme and Eternal, Infinite and Mighty, Merciful and Compassionate, Creator, and Provider. Allah (SWT) has no father, no mother, no sons nor any family. None equal to Him. He is God of all mankind, not of a special tribe or race. He is our ONE in ONLY GOD.

Allah is High and Supreme, but He is very near to all creation. He loves the people who love Him, and forgives their sins. He answer their prayers and helps them. He gives them peace, happiness, knowledge, and success. Allah is the Loving, the Provider, the Generous, the Beneficent, the Rich, the Independent, the Forgiving, the Clement, the Patient, the Appreciative, the Unique, the Protector, the Judge, and the Peace.

Allah creates in humans the mind to understand; the soul and conscience to be good and righteous; and the feelings and sentiments to be kind and human. If we try to count His favors upon us, we cannot, because they are countless. In return for all the great favors and mercy, Allah (SWT) does not need anything from us, because He is free of needs and Independent. Allah (SWT) asks us to know Him, to love, and to enforce His Law for our own benefit and own good. The Holy Quran gives descriptions of Allah in many places.

The Holy Quran says:
Allah! there is no God but He the Living, the Self-Subsisting, Eternal. No Slumber can seize Him nor sleep. His are all things in heavens and on earth. Who is there can intercede in His presence except as He permits?He knows what (appears to his creatures as) before or after or behind them. Nor shall they compass aught of his knowledge except as he permits. His throne does extend over the heavens and the earth, and he feels no fatigue in guarding and preserving them for He is Most High, the Supreme (in glory).
Surah Al-Baqarah, 2:255
